Wedge implants in narrow ridges: recent clinical and scientific evidence
The bone remodeling that follows the extraction of the dental elements often results in an alveolar ridge with a reduced horizontal dimension, making implant-prosthetic rehabilitation problematic.
Sufficient bone thickness is a fundamental element for the medium and long-term success of dental implants: the use of reduced diameter fixtures is one of the strategies to overcome this problem. This webinar will illustrate the features, potentials and limitations of a new wedge implant designed specifically to solve these complex situations in a simple way, presenting the results of a recently published multicenter clinical study.
