There has been a paradigm shift in dentistry and that of site preservation procedures that became successful and predictable. The posterior maxilla is the focus of that lecture. The successful outcome of site preservation has been achieved in that area of the mouth which reduced the need of lateral sinus elevation by using more and more crestal sinus approach.
